Meet Our Pastor
Dr. Torrance A. Jacko Sr.
A native of Houston, Texas, Dr. Torrance Jacko answered the call to preach at 16 years of age. Enlisting in the United States Navy at 18, he served in Yokosuka, Japan aboard the aircraft carrier USS Midway.
It was there in 1986 when he met Lisa, who was also in the Navy serving in Japan. While on the Midway, Torrance preached the first 6-day revival aboard a sea-going vessel. As a result, Dr. Jacko was visited by the Chief of Chaplains from Washington, D.C. while the ship was deployed in the Indian Ocean.
